Volver is proud to be awarded with the DOGA Award for Design and Architecture from the Norwegian Design Council (DOGA) for our debut collection Tribute.
Jury´s announcement: "Tribute from Volver consists of thirteen rugs that celebrate designers from Mid-century. This is a collaboration between specialists in design, wool, colors, textile and weaving from Norway and India. Tribute lives up to Volver's ambition to add diversity to Scandinavian design. The carpets are hand-tufted and woven in natural materials.The jury is impressed by the holistic perspective, where sustainability and craftsmanship are the foundation. And the result is irresistible. "
The DOGA Award for Design and Architecture is a distinction awarded by DOGA to Norwegian businesses and practitioners who demonstrate the outstanding use of design and/architecture. The award aims to showcase and spotlight exemplary projects.
In allocating the DOGA Award, the jury looks for projects that demonstrate how design and architecture have contributed to innovative results. The project must incorporate a number of professional qualities like form and function. The jury also assesses the value of the project result for society, the environment and/or the economy.
